Albums:

A few choice samples.

I wll update these samples sporadically
You'll just have to check back every now and then.

Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here
It just has to be the first in the list. Was tempted to use the black bag outer cover as the image but that would have been annoying
I have a Dolby DVD of the Quad vinyl somewhere. Now on SACD it's even more special.

Dire Straits - Love Over Gold
Overshadowed by the later "Brothers in Arms" this is not to be missed: Telegraph Road - If you are lucky you can get it on SCAD
One for
CeceliaCome on Joe Moore: work out who "Cecelia" is!

Chris Rea - Deltics
York, St.Johns at the end of the 70s - so many Chris Rea fans.. and so many Deltic locos!
(It's not on this particular album but here's to the "Stainsby Girl" in my life).

Freddie Mercury - Mr Bad Guy
"...bringing ballet to the masses..."©Sid Vicious

Donald Fagan - The Nightfly
One of the first DDD pop recordings, both the content and production are outstanding.
In 2011 they finally released the Hybrid Multichannel SACD version.

Peter Gabriel- So
1986 - Innovative and a huge hit, what's not to like? If you are only familiar with Sledgehammer then you're missing some very influential stuff.
Difficult to choose a sample "Red Rain"?; "Mercy Street"?; but Kate won in the end.
